Feeling like I was never enough, constantly battling perfectionism, self-doubt, and the harsh voice of my inner critic that kept me stuck in cycles of stress, anxiety, disordered eating, failed relationships and addictions…

It wasn’t just an internal battle – it colored every aspect of my life, leaving me feeling isolated, empty, and stuck. I was second-guessing myself, questioning my worth in every decision, and feeling exhausted from trying to be someone I wasn’t. The weight of my inner critics drained my energy and left me anxious and disconnected from my body. The perfectionism became paralyzing – I would either overwork myself to exhaustion or avoid things altogether out of fear of failure. My self-worth was tied to external validation, and when I didn’t receive it, the spiral of shame and guilt would intensify. At times I felt disconnected from life, using food and addictions as ways to escape the pain. It affected my relationships, making it difficult to trust myself and others. It was a dark place, and I didn’t know how to break free. I started searching for answers and found something incredibly powerful!

There are psycho-somatic and therapeutic models that go beyond traditional talk therapy, recognizing the multiplicity of human nature and acknowledging that we are made up of different inner parts.

Internal Family Systems, Voice Dialogue and Inner Relationship Focusing are prime examples of Parts Work models. Here are some examples of common inner parts:

What’s really happening inside?

Or perhaps it’s keeping you small, preventing you from fully expressing your creativity or stepping into the life you know you’re meant to live.
